This song is about transitioning out of the old and into the new. My dear friend, Nick Brewer, and I were enjoying a day off from recording and touring and he came to me with these beautiful chords and a melody. Together with the help of Joel White we wrote this song together and it turned into a symbol for me. I was finally chasing my dream. I had quit my job and was chasing my dream wholeheartedly. I literally felt alive.
